Off from work today, my pay's still not here yet. Dunno what the admin staff is doing, telling me she's given me the payslip a few days ago when I haven't heard any sh*t about it from anyone.
Freakin' lost my payslip and making up excuses. Plus, the lady doing the sealing and price tags kept shoving all her work to me. I swear she's being lazy, no way I'm gonna swap my off-day with her man. She can jolly well figure something out herself. Gonna ask Irwan to protect me from her tmr.
Stayed at home all day, wanted to meet Teresa but she had church stuff to do. Went to collect stuff from RippleVox on my previous off-day. It's an Xbox 360 game called Blue Dragon and a pair of tickets to PLAY! A Video Game Symphony coming to the Esplanade on 15th & 16th. I can't wait! They'll be performing lots of music from blockbuster video game titles like Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy(though I'm not a fan of the FF series) and list goes on. Woohooo!

Updates.
Monday, went to National Junior College to support the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Softball (Guys)team with Teresa-NP won. Sped down to RJC after that hoping to catch the girls Floorball match only to find out ,Marcus(this friend of Teresa's), lied. Only the guys were playing, coincidentally against NJC. Finally got to see her bro up-close;
Timothy Quek, National Floorball-er and RJC's Floorball Coach. Usually I only see him on our ITE's website.
Started work at this cd store on Tuesday called Gramophone at Cathay Cineplex. My dad does delivery for the company. It's been boring so far, sealing cds in clear plastic wrappers continuously. But the people there are kinda nice. Stayed at home on Thursday since I didn't need to work..... doing the same thing now and maybe tmr too.
So... while waiting for Sammi to come over, I did the Ben & Jerry's test thing that can be found on Jh, Cel and Sonia's blogs.
Your Score: FOSSIL FUEL!You scored 66% SWEET, 70% CHUNKY, and 81% UNIQUE!

You're a nice person with a bit of a wild side, and very creative. Your mind works in wondrous ways and you have no problem sharing your unique thoughts with others. You know how to have fun without being an outright nuisance. Very nice.
And Happy Birthday to Ester, Eileen, my dumbass cousin-Ashley and all the other people who are having birthdays today.

I just remembered this piece of news I saw on Channel 8 last Sunday. The MOST absurd lawsuit, period. Plaintiff Roy Pearson is suing this dry cleaning store ran by a Korean family living in America. So the owners of this particular dry-cleaning business have lost the plaintiff's pair of trousers which led to him filing a suit against them. The store owners did eventually find that pair of trousers, but he's still pressing charges. But what's the catch? Pearson's a lawyer(promoted to a judge). Ridiculous? Not yet, I haven't got to the best part.
So, it's not as simple as losing the trousers. He claimed to have endured "mental suffering, inconvenience and discomfort" because he couldn't wear his favourite suit on his first day of work. He has made used of the oldest and most subtle marketing tool in dry cleaning business - Satisfaction Guaranteed, which he felt gravely unsatisfied.
What made the whole issue farcical was the lawsuit fees amounted to USD$67 MILLION. YES, you didn't see any typo errors. It IS 67 million smackeroos! People over at Fort Lincoln might be treating this like a comedy and laughing it off. But seriously, this is no laughing matter. Come on! This Korean family migrated to America in search of a better life and this is what they get? *shakes head* I don't know if this has anything to do with the racial issues over there, but this is completely horrendous. *angry red sparks shooting out of Kiwi's wand* (Curse them all!) For a 4-page long report on this extremely affectious(to your emotions) news and how the fees accumulated to this incredible amount, visit this link to it on the ABC News website

Had a really enjoyable time going down to support Sonia for the Stardust XVII Finals held at NUS yesternight. Since I was free the whole day, I went down to NP to accompany Jinghui after she was dismissed which was around 1plus and it was like 5 hours before the performance.
Watched this documentary at the NP lib titled Highway Courtesans required for her project. I felt kinda sad for the girls in the film cus they didn't really have a choice and it was sorta like a "tradition", hence being forced into prostitution. This was their only way of earning money to support their families. The government over there isn't doing anything to prevent it. If only they can get proper education or something. Sigh... I feel bad for almost everything.
Back to Stardust, met up with Karin over at NUS before heading into the theatre. The contestants, Solo & Group, were awesome. Notable mentions in my opinion were Rohasliza(2nd Runner-Up), Joel, Hun and Dwayne(Solo category Winner) whom sang songs by Whitney Houston, Ray Charles, Vanessa Williams respectively. Dunno whose or what song Dwayne sang, but it certainly was entertaining and I like musical-style songs. And of course, not forgetting the ever-wonderful Sonia(1st Runner-Up) giving a splendid rendition of 祝我生日快乐. Must be the magical combi of medicated oil and baby powder.
I thought two of the contestants(can't remember their names) were quite unlucky cus the genre of their chosen songs were similar to Rohasliza's(whom has very powerful vocals) and the whole presentation of their songs were very much the same. So when this kinda situation happens, the one who can deliver a top-notch performance will stand out. Though Hun(a Cambodian & SAJC student with a squeaky voice), sang with this weird accent and hilarious pronounciations, I actually thought she really expressed how the song was meant to be like. I like Joel's performance as well, with a lil' dedication from Sonia. Sweet!
What Momma Wants won the Group category which they really deserved it, since they put in a considerable amount of effort to plan the whole Acappella arrangement. All these are just my own humble overview of the particular segments which appealed to me. Hooray to "Sexy Sonia" once again!

Alright for the very first post of this newly
layout-ed(I dont know what other words to insert) blog, I'm gonna do this weird chain mail/game/meme... whatever it's called nowadays.
Each player of this game starts off by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Here goes:
1. I grew up playing barbie dolls, polly pocket and all those other girlie toys cus my mum always left me at my cousin's house(and apparently, they're all girls).
2. I used to go out alone all the time, like shopping or even movies(Yes, I've caught quite alot of movies alone).
3. And talking about going out alone, I've skipped school once when I was Primary 4 to go the AMK Library and stayed there all day to read and read... and read.
4. I remember being able to insert my index finger into my lower eyelid when I was a kid and showed it proudly to my friends.
5. I used to spend 2hours or more to finish my meal at home cus my eyes were always glued to the tv(not literally).
6. This is sorta similar to No.5. The nurse taking care of me when I was a baby said I drank my milk alottttt slower than the rest of the babies(maybe that's cus I'm premature). My dad told me he was really fed-up with me drinking at snail-years speed when he tried to feed me, so he fed me using a spoon.
So... the next honourable yet unlucky 6 are:
Ni
Ester
Melissa
Stella
Janice
Dawn
And... Stacey! That's cheating too, but who cares? Cus I just remembered Stacey's blog add and I just talked to her. Staying in Australia doesn't prioritize you not to do it, so you HAVE to! Wahahaha!
SONIA! I did this game thing okaaay... Who said I wouldn't do it! Rahhh!! Anyway FEI(For Everyone's Info), who happened to think this new layout is kiddish or something. I hand-drawn(well mouse-drawn actually), which is even more challenging(that means diffucult), everything OKAY! And... I like it! All Hail, Miyamoto-sama!
